BE MINDFUL OF TIME
We get it: sometimes life can be hectic. But scurrying into class, slamming your mat down, and trying to get settled in is stressful for you and your fellow yogis. Give yourself 10-15 minutes before class starts to get your spot, set-up, & settle in.

BE MINDFUL OF OTHERS
While a loud inhale and exhale, or occasional laugh is completely normal and actually encouraged! Ringing cell phones, running conversations with your friends, and intense grunting can be distracting to your fellow yogis, so please turn off your cell phones and try to keep any excess noise to a minimum.

REMOVE YOUR SHOES
Since people will be walking around the studio barefoot, it is most hygienic if everyone takes off their outdoor shoes first thing. We have cubbies for your belongings and your shoes.

BRING YOUR TOWEL & MAT
Bring your towel and your own mat and arrive clean and free of scents that might distract or offend others. Don’t worry if you forget your mat though. We do have mats you can rent or buy from us!

KEEP HYDRATED
It is extremely important to keep hydrated, especially if you practice hot yoga. Although many people do bring their water bottles to class, it is recommended drinking eight ounces of water at least 30 minutes beforehand and at the end of class. If possible, avoid drinking water immediately before or during class.

SAVASANA
Your final relaxation (Savasana) is an important part of your practice. Don’t plan to leave class early. If you must, tell the teacher in advance and either leave before Savasana or take a short Savasana before you go and leave quietly as not to disturb others.
